Melisa Novotná is a Czech born, Bristol based multidisciplinary artist. Her practice covers areas of painting, photography and performance with focus on the intricate thoughts and processes of the human brain and psychology. 

By combining her photography and digital images, Melisa explores the relationship between the reality and imagination, 2D and 3D world and the old and new. The unusual use of still life pushes her work beyond the canvas, letting the viewer to explore their understanding of the work.
